Chennai market has seen a resurgence in new multiplex chains & luxurious designs to patronize the cinema-centric city. The existing cinema located in Ampa Mall garnered great reviews on its opening with its contemporary approach. The existing multiplex has now been taken on the drawing board for an adaptation towards a more luxurious interior. The arrival at the third level greets the visitor in a double height box office space with galleries on the sides.

The cinema itself is approached via a bridge suspended in the mall atrium. The pre-function at the end of the bridge is now proposed to become a part of the main foyer space making it generous for multiple offerings and appropriate for a large number of patrons. The interior design proposes the main foyer to become dramatic with movie art galleries housed within its pyramid ceilings. The ceilings are modified to create direction & prominence towards the main concessions at the far end. The counters themselves are proposed in fin formation fascia with amber lit coves beautifully wrapping the foyer space.
